History of
liquid superfood mushroom agaricus blazei H1X1 AgariGold
This liquid mushroom concentrate
is hybridized from, and even more potent than, a rare
medicinal mushroom that grows only in the rainforest of Piedade in Brazil, where
it is not unusual to be well and vital well past 100!
The little known Agari rainforest mushroom that's led to the super mushroom
H1X1 breakthrough in health and vitality is here.
In the 1960s, a Japanese scientist by the name of Takatishi Furumoto
discovered, a rare strain of a certain mushroom native to the
local mountains of the Piedade area. It turned out that the locals used this
"sun mushroom" or "mushroom of life," as they called it (known botanically as
Agaricus blazei Murill fungus) to make a popular tea for wellness. It was also a
regular ingredient in their cooking!
For decades, anthropologists and medical researchers puzzled over the fact
that the people of Piedade, a small mountain town in the humid rainforest of
Brazil, lived to extraordinary age, many well into their 100s. For years,
scientists attributed this incredible health and vitality to some powerful genetic defense,
passed from one generation to the next. Was it a longer-life gene?
No. . .something even better!
Furumoto's research established an unequivocal connection between the
mushroom and the wellbeing and good health of the people who
consumed it.
Since then, dozens upon dozens of scientific studies have analyzed the
complex organic compounds that account for the powerful, anti-aging, wellness,
vitality properties of this particular, very rare strain of mushroom
and confirmed that Agaricus blazei is indeed the source of nourishment and good health enjoyed by the people of Piedade.
Therefore, it was not "good genes," but rather the treasured
mushroom that strengthened these people compared to the rest of the world.
That is good news, because, while you can not do anything about your genetic
makeup, you can benefit from the nutrients of this high esteemed mushroom, Agaricus blazei.
In fact, many already have, including ex-President Ronald Reagan who, according
to the media, used it for a variety of health issues
No wonder the valued mushroom Agaricus blazei was heralded as the
long-awaited addition supporting health and wellbeing.
Only there were TWO big problems!
Unfortunately, this particular strain of the mushroom grows only in the
unique soil and climate conditions found around the village of Piedade, and
repeated attempts at commercial cultivation failed. Although the original
cultures that Furumoto sent to Japan have been painstakingly maintained and
isolated to guard their genetic purity, for years, the only, very limited source
was the rainforest of Piedade.
And that area, like so much of the Brazilian rainforest, has become urbanized
and industrialized since the mushroom's discovery, some 40-60 years ago.
Nowadays, you would be hard pressed to find the "prized mushroom" growing wild.
A near tragedy!
Of course, the original discovery that this valued mushroom
provided powerful nutritional value created huge interest
in the scientific community.
For years, front-line research laboratories and world-class bio-chemical
researchers have been studying the many different strains of the Agaricus blazei
mushrooms found throughout the world.
While none has been identified with a polysaccharide profile that exactly
matches the Piedade Agaricus blazei, herbalists working in the U.S. recently
discovered that a related Agaricus strain does contain most of the active
bio-nutrients that make the Brazilian mushroom so powerful.
That was especially good news, because this newly researched, still-un-named
strain of Agaricus mushroom contains more than a few powerful polysaccharide
nutrients that are uniquely its own. Not only do these nutrients possess
powerful better-health properties, they complement those of the original
Brazilian strain.
The best news of all is that geneticists have now succeeded in crossing
genetically pure cultures descended from the original Piedade mushroom taken to
Japan, with the newly researched complementary strain, to create a new, hybrid
Agaricus mushroom that is even more powerful than either of its "parents!"
Science introduces the new Hybrid Mushroom . . . the most powerful
super-mushroom of all! H1/X1

Newsrelease from Nutritionaladvisor.net:
"Over
100 clinical trials and citations on Medline suggest that the
agaricus blazei mushroom
(an edible species of mushroom also known as agaricus subrufescensis)
possesses unique anti-oxidant and ant-proliferative effects that are being
studied in the treatment of cancer and diseases of the liver.
Most researchers believe that
betaglucans,
a plant polysaccharide, are the primary immune enhancing factor in the
mushroom.
Because of its enormously high beta glucan content (higher than both Reishi
and Shiitake mushrooms), Agaricus blazei is used in cancer therapy,
primarily in Japan but also in the United States. The mushroom species has
been commercially cultivated in Asia and South America for over 15 years.
Because of this valuable and rare polysaccharide (beta glucan), Agaricus was
quite expensive in the past, until it was successfully cultivated in
commercial mushroom farms in Japan, Macua, China, Brazil, and the United
States. Most of the side effects and adverse events associated with this
mushroom in the past may, however, be associated with poor quality control
and contamination issues present in some growing facilities, primarily in
China. Agaricus blazei mushroom assists in the production of interferon and
interleukin, which may inhibit cancer metastasis. It also reduces blood
glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol levels and may help stabilize or reduce
blood lipids. ABM is known to contain three different beta-glucans:
-
beta-(1-3)-D-glucan
-
beta-(1-4)-a -D-glucan
-
beta-(1-6)-D-glucan
This mushroom, a staple of oriental medicine, and used widely in Japan, is
safe, with few reported side effects. One report was found of a patient who
had an allergic inflammation of the lip (cheilitis),
and one published report of a possible causal association with
liver inflammation
resulting in hepatic complications, but no other significant reports were
found in the National Library of Medicine. The report of hepatotoxicity was
traced back to mushrooms sourced from China and contaminated with Aflatoxin,
a toxin that is produced when food products that are damp are contaminated
with aspergillis. Because mushrooms are essentially sponges, they will soak
up any contamination that is present in the growing medium. That is why
virtually sterile growing conditions are important for preventing side
effects associated with these mushrooms. One primary manufacturer, Wayora,
grows their Agarigold mushrooms in a controlled and clean environment at an
isolated subterranean mushroom farm located in limestone caves in
Pennsylvania in order to prevent contamination of these mushrooms.
Drug Interactions: Certain pain medications including non-steroidal
anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS) may
interact with beta
glucan, and it is recommended that individuals check with their
personal physician before taking these medications in combination with beta
glucan or with agaricus blazei.
Recently, Watanabe and co-workers published a report in the journal
"Biological & Pharmaceutical Bulletin" on a novel hybrid of the agaricus
blazei called
Basidiomycetes-X (BDM-X).
BDM-X is a unique edible mushroom recently identified as a new species, and
was registered with International Patent Organism Depositing (IPOD) in the
Industrial Technology Institute of Japan, giving it
unique patent protection.
The researchers examined the anti-oxidant activity of a water extract of
this new hybrid mushroom both in vitro (in the test tube) and in vivo (in
living animals) compared with the Agaricus Blazei Murill (ABM) mushroom, a
commercially available edible medicinal mushroom (that has been used in
oriental medicine for centuries), as well as other reference antioxidants
like alpha lipoic acid.
BDM-X showed more potent anti-oxidative actions compared with that of
Agaricus Blazei Murill (ABM). Further, the protective activity of BDM-X
oxidative liver damage damage was compared with ABM and alpha-lipoic acid in
the mice pre-administered with these antioxidants.
All three of these antioxidants inhibited liver damage, but BDM-X showed the
strongest protection among them.
Waiora International a company whose products are focused on fighting the
primary causes of aging, has released a novel hybrid of the Agaricus Blazei
edible mushroom called
Agarigold.
Researching over 200 species of Agaricus Blazei, Japanese researchers
stumbled upon a subspecies indigenous to Brazil that possessed the greatest
potency of all 200 species examined. This mushroom was cross-bred
(hybridized) with another potent medicinal mushroom resulting in a new
hybrid possessing 10 times the potency of other known mushrooms. The
mushroom is combined with a small amount of a Japanese bamboo leaf extract
(a unique fully organic herb that is used to stabilize the mushroom and
ensure it’s potency).
This mushroom hybrid has been
patented
based on its genetic (DNA) signature, as well as it’s growing process, and
it’s extraction process. It was released on March 15, 2008 as a new oral
nutritional supplement (100% vegan) called H1X1 or
Agarigold.
Waiora released 12 scientific trials of Agarigold along with a scientific
white paper at the national meeting in Orlando."
Information included in the white paper suggests benefits in:
-
Promotes overall health and well-being
-
Plays a
role in immune system modulation
-
Increases Natural Killer (NK) cell activity
-
Nourishes the digestive system
-
Supports a Healthy cardiovascular system
-
Supports normal blood sugar levels
-
Protects against free radical damage
-
